We promise to do a professional job, clean up up the work site daily, and have your roof banged out in no time.
But beware
You may experience the following:
- No workers showing up on site for days or weeks
- Workers tossing random stuff off the roof and damaging cars and other property
- Roof left unprotected, even during forecasted heavy rain
- Drug-addicted workers OD-ing on the job and passing out on the roof
- Refusal to submit an insurance claim for damages we cause
- Refusal to provide our insurance information
Here is how we leave a work site for weeks.
We’re proud of our work and we are not afraid to go to court to get the money we think we are owed, even when our substandard work causes tens of thousands of dollars of damage to a customer’s building. In fact, we told our customer that we want everyone to know about the shit-show work site and workers overdosing. Do not worry though! We have it under control. We work very hard to fix all of the problems we create.
When we leave your site we will make sure to steal any leftover materials that you paid for, and while we are taking the materials we will take the opportunity to crash our trailer into your infrastructure – like well heads – and leave your property a mess. We also love to leave ruts in people’s lawns.
What our customers say about us:
We hired Matt Osgood and Co to replace a roof for us. We paid up front for the materials and gave additional money up front for labor costs. Work was delayed for weeks. When they did show up one of his workers threw crap off the roof and caused $1000+ damage to a tenant’s car. That was the first day. It only got worse from there. Matt has still not reimbursed our tenants for that loss. Another one of his workers OD-ed on the job, and nodded off on the roof. 911 was called, Narcan was administered. Apparently CPR was given for 20+ minutes on the roof. The roof was left with no coverings on it for weeks. During rain storms. Tenants called and texted to complain. The contract calls for them to remove all the old roofing material from the site daily, but they left all of the slate on the ground and on the decks in piles for tenants to trip over. They left that for weeks until I paid another crew to clean it up. No one should have to deal with the outrageous level of incompetence and negligence that happened to our building.
We incurred about $100k worth of damage to the building due to the negligence and incompetence of this crew. They refuse to file a claim and refuse to provide us with their insurance information. They have threatened to sue us for money they think we owe for their shoddy work. We will gladly face him in court and counter-sue for all the damages.
To add insult to injury, when he came back to retrieve his tools he stole a stack of plywood I paid for that was supposed to have been installed on the roof. While taking the plywood he crashed his trailer into our well head and broke it. He also managed to leave ruts all over the lawn.
I gotta give him credit though, he did save one of his crew from dying. He gave CPR to the dude that overdosed on my roof.
I highly recommend Matt and his crew if you want to piss of all your tenants and destroy your building.
